Collecting Fresh Milk
The process begins with sourcing fresh yak and cow milk from local farmers in the pristine Himalayan regions of Nepal. We work closely with ethical dairy cooperatives, ensuring cruelty-free and sustainable milk collection that supports rural livelihoods.
Curdling the Milk
The fresh milk is gently heated and curdled using a natural food-grade souring agent like lime or lemon juice. This separates the milk into curds and whey, with the curds forming the base of our dog chews.
Draining & Pressing
The curds are carefully drained of excess whey and placed into cotton cloth bags. They are then pressed to remove additional moisture, resulting in a dense, solid cheese-like block.
Smoked & Sun-Dried
Once the cheese blocks are firm, they are cut into desired sizes and smoked over wood fires in traditional Himalayan-style smokehouses. This slow, natural smoking process can take up to 28 days, giving the chews their rich, smoky flavor while naturally preserving them without chemicals.
After smoking, the chews are further sun-dried under the Himalayan sun to harden and reduce moisture, ensuring a long shelf life and durability.
Custom Cutting & Flavouring (Optional)
Once fully dried, the chews are cut into custom sizes and weights as per customer or market requirements. We also offer flavored varieties by naturally infusing the chews with pet-safe ingredients like chicken, turmeric, mint, or peanut butter upon request.
Cleaning & Quality Check
Every chew undergoes a strict manual cleaning and quality inspection process to remove any dust, debris, or surface imperfections. Only the best-quality chews are selected for packaging and export.
Packing & Export
